Lagnajeet Tripathy is a passionate sustainability professional and emerging thought leader in the fields of Energy, Environment, and Sustainable Development. Currently pursuing his MBA in Energy & Environment (2024–2026) from the prestigious Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB), Pune, he brings with him a strong academic foundation, having completed his Bachelor’s degree in Sustainable Development from XIM University, Bhubaneswar.

He has worked extensively on the ground with tribal and rural communities in Odisha through internships with the Centre for Youth and Sustainable Development (CSNR) and the Indo-Global Social Service Society (IGSSS), focusing on forest rights, government schemes, and sustainable organic farming practices. During his tenure at NALCO, he undertook an in-depth review of their Annual Sustainability Report, evaluating ESG parameters in alignment with global standards like GRI, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001. His contributions included practical recommendations for enhancing environmental performance and plant operations.

Currently, Lagnajeet is serving as an Intern at Integrated Design Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (IDSPL), contributing to a project titled “Market Transformation for the Energy Sector Using IoT”, where he is actively exploring innovative intersections between digital technologies and sustainability.
