K. P. Eashwar is a seasoned communication and development professional with approximately 30 years of experience. His expertise includes developing communication strategies, writing, ghostwriting, editing, contract publishing, documentary filmmaking, and creating digital and social media content. He has worked extensively in areas such as conventional and renewable energy, energy efficiency, environment, climate change, sustainable development, Ayurveda, and cricket.

Eashwar’s career includes an 18-year tenure with Tata Energy Research Institute (TERI) and Laserwords Pvt. Ltd, an e-publishing company. He has collaborated with various national and international development agencies, including the Government of India, UNDP, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), the German Agency for Technical Cooperation (GTZ), the World Ayurveda Foundation, and numerous NGOs.

As a climate change communication consultant, Eashwar has worked in Malawi on a World Bank project and served as a consulting editor for the Ministry of Science and Technology’s Vigyan Samachar. Currently, he is the consulting editor for “Akshay Urja,” a renewable energy magazine published by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India. He has also produced documentary films for international agencies and was a jury member at the India International Science Film Festival in 2023.
