Reviewed building design for modification of the façade, considering orientation, massing, number and type of openings, and selection of building envelope materials. Conducted analysis of the building design using building energy simulation tools to determine cooling load and annual energy consumption. Provided support for selection of construction materials for walls, roof, and skylights to optimize energy efficiency.

Estimated the capacity of façade and landscape integrated evaporative cooling system. Offered inputs to the cooling system designer regarding the size of the evaporative cooling surface area, face velocity, and air flow rate to meet ventilation requirements. Developed the design for a solar PV system to reduce heat ingress through skylights based on shadow analysis.
