Project Contributors:
This project is aimed to assess the energy efficiency of hospitals across various climate zones and typologies. With technical support from AEEE and CCDC, 341 hospitals were analyzed. The survey focused on calculating the EPI. The results revealed significant diversity in EPI influenced by factors such as equipment efficiency, behavioural practices, and infrastructure differences.
– Project outcomes emphasized energy efficiency’s significance in healthcare facilities.- Identified hospitals with higher EPI values for potential energy-saving measures.
– Enabled stakeholders to develop targeted interventions.
– Contributed valuable data for policy decisions promoting energy efficiency in healthcare.
