Involves developing national energy efficiency standards for multi-storey residential buildings to be included in the ECBC. It also aims to facilitate the notification of updated ECBC standards in two selected states, support the application in two municipalities, and assist in developing incentive mechanisms. Additionally, the project includes the development and implementation of ENS.

– Review and gap analysis of existing residential code and development of framework.

– Estimate residential building stock, future energy usage, cost savings, and investment costs.

– Engagement of stakeholders for code implementation through consultation workshops.

– Assistance to central and state governments in the development of incentive mechanisms.
