Providing technical support to Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC) Cells in 11 states and 4 Union Territories. The objectives of the ECBC Cell are to assist states and ULBs in implementing ECBC through government notifications, updating of building bye-laws/rules of ULBs, capacity building of stakeholders and development of ECBC compliant demonstration projects. Kerala ECBC Cell was supported from April 2017- May 2018

Under this work, IDSPL has provided technical assistance to 64 buildings as of date to make them ECBC compliant. These buildings are located in all the five different climate zones and of 6 building types (Office, Hospitality, Healthcare, Institutions, Assembly and Shopping Complexes) across the country.
