LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the most widely used green building rating system in the world. Available for virtually all building project types, from new construction to interior fitouts and operation & maintenance. The UNDP Building located on Lodhi road is an existing building with a built-up area of 5,000 sft approx and the applicable LEED rating for the project will be LEED Interiors Operations & Maintenance (OM-IN).

LEED OM-IN rating is given to this buildings through Arc platform. Arc an analytics platform that measures building performance, and benchmarks it against similar buildings across the globe. The project is aiming for platinum rating given all the credit requirements and the current performance of the site and the building. The entire flow of process for LEED certification for UNDP is

  • Data collection (energy, water, waste etc.
  • Setting up of Arc platform and entering all the data for the assessment.
  • Pursuing energy, water and waste credits.
  • Taking transportation and Indoor thermal comfort surveys for all occupants (both regular occupants nad visitors).
  • Performing Air quality test.
  • Documentation of all prerequisites and credits.
  • Submission for the initital review.
  • Addressing the comments from GBCI after the initial view.
  • Final review results this project is submitted for its preliminary review assessment. .
